Putting Slim Fast to the test! Review the Slim Fast Plan- One month challenge! Day Three!

Hi everyone! Well so far the Slim Fast diet has been really easy, and pretty tasty! The only stumbling block so far was I woke up at four in the morning hungry. I just felt really empty, so much so it woke me from my sleep. By the time I got up and was ready for breakfast I didn’t feel too hungry.

To go alongside the Slim Fast my partner brought home a Tesco version of 200 kcal per serving. I tried one of these instead of the Slim Fast today before buying some more Slim Fast today. I may alternate between the two. I figure it doesn’t make a difference to the review as the concept is the same.

It was pretty much my normal routine today plus a dance class in the evening.

Here is my food diary for today

Breakfast. Chocolate shake 230 kcal

Snack. Chocolate caramel bar 95 kcal

Lunch. Tesco Ultra Slim 200 kcal

Snack. Small banana 95 kcal

Dinner. Two wholemeal bread buns, one poached egg with spinach and ketchup. approx. 500 kcal

TOTAL 1120 kcal

Weight loss -1 pound

Total weight loss so far 2.5 pounds

So, so far Slim Fast doesn’t feel like a diet at all. I’m never fully full, but I do always feel quite satisfied with what I’ve consumed. I haven’t yet been doing any great physical activity, just day to day stuff. I feel like if I did do some heavier exercise then I would really be craving something more than the shakes or a bigger snack.

This is my food diary for today;

Breakfast. Chocolate shake 230 kcal

Snack. Small apple 30 kcal

Lunch. Chocolate shake 230 kcal

Snack. Kale and lentil 80 kcal

Dinner. Spaghetti with steamed vegetables and raw spinach and soy sauce. 450kcal

Water and 2x coffee with milk 60kcal

TOTAL 1080 kcal

-1 pound

Total loss so far 1.5 pounds

Putting Slim Fast to the test! Review the Slim Fast Plan- One month challenge!

I’m feeling a little crazy and I feel like a new challenge. I am such an advocate of wellness and natural food sources that I’m really curious to see if something like Slim Fast really works. It contains processed materials and sugar so I am very skeptical as to whether simply a calorie reduction even eating processed material is enough to lose weight.

I am a hugely faddy eater. I have the kind of personality where I become obsessed with certain foods for a while. Eat them so often I become bored and move on to the next thing. The only thing that remains consistent is I have always craved carbohydrates and sugar. Sometimes I give in to this, occasionally to excess, sometimes I indulge moderately (least likely) and I often ban them from my diet completely.

In short, I enjoy extremes.

I am currently a healthy weight for my height. I exercise but I am not an athletic build.

I have dedicated my body to Slim Fast for one month in the name of anyone who has ever wondered if shakes really do work. Here goes!
